One of my projects ended in frustration. After making a bunch of video clips and posting them on Voice Threads, I discovered that they were set up on V.T. as a horizontal image. I wanted them to be viewed as a vertical image. Voice Threads did not give me the option of rotating the image of my video clips after they are loaded. I am mentioning this to save you all from the frustration I experienced.
If you have video that you produced as a horizontal image but you want to appear as a vertical image on V.T., you’ll need to convert them before you download them onto Voice Threads.
Here’s how I did it:
1. Open your video with Windows Live Movie Maker
2. Rotate the image and save as (my movie1, for example)
It will then be saved in Movie Maker Projects
3. After rotating and saving all the images that need to be changed you will download them to V.T.
4. Find your videos in “Computer”
5. Locate them in “My Documents”
6. Here you will find them listed by the file name you assigned them.
7. They are ready to go to V.T.
This weekend, I am going to try to convert these instructions to Screen Jelly directions. Check back next week if you prefer to have directions make clearer with visuals.
