Both "Grow Your Personal Learning Network" and "Seven Things You Should Know About Personal Learning Environments" made me think...WOW! This course has, of course, been an enormous eye-opener to me, and these articles, too, showed me how times are changing so dramatically with personal learning networks.
Just look at the variety! How does one choose between some of them? Which is better-Delicious or Diigo? Or should someone get both? I was transfixed by the variety of personal learning networks available, and I enjoyed reading (in both articles) how they are utilized and accessed for more efficiency in teaching and learning.
It is true...our personal learning networks used to be ONLY our in-school colleagues, maybe contacts with old friends or colleagues, the professors we had or courses with, and nowadays, well, our personal learning networks can be as big as the earth and the internet combined. It is truly amazing.
