For the upper elementary or middle school student who has not yet developed the skills to independently manage the completion of his/her homework, the following list of successful habits should help the development of good habits:
SUCCESSFUL HOMEWORK HABITS

listing

c. YOU will know if your child needs encouragement to copy his/her assignments and check
them off when completed
d. Teachers will communicate if there are missing major assignments
2. HOMEWORK SPACE
a. Provide your child a distraction free space to do homework and keep his/her materials
3. BACKPACK
a. Ensure your child has packed all materials in the backpack each evening once homework is
